The Elephant Paradise

I am in wellow. There have been changes. I am with Simon. A big branch has been pruned off the wellow apple tree. It has let lots more light into the kitchen.

The chickens haven't been fed in ages. There are young skinny looking ones. I open them up and they come running out. I get a handful of grain to throw to them. In the bin of food for them is a big lumpy thing. I think it a loaf of bread, but when I throw it, it turns out to be a chicken. But the chicks are so hungry they turn to eating it any way. There are maggots around it's neck and wings which they feed on. But then it turns out that the chicken they are feeding on is still alive. Just. I decide to try to quickly put it out of its misery. But it doesn't want to die, it's a tough one. Simon comes back. He says that this one is the best one because it's a survivor.

James is still keen on building an extension. I am smoking a cigarette strongly. He is wondering weather it is damaging my lungs. I best go out side to smoke as I am concerned about my mum smelling the smoke.

I'm telling Simon about my projects in the UK. He asks me how my project with elephants is going. I almost forgot. Yes, I see a bit of land, big trees, fertile, bright light,. Elephants are patrolling the boarder  ... It's Africa.
