I'm at a party. Many people are taking drugs. They are popping these
pills into their mouths, and experiencing heightened states of
awareness.
I am curious. So I try one. Quite quickly the effects come on, and I
experience a shifting of the way I experience time. I am also much
more sensitive to sound.
There are a bunch of people who are having a jam. I join them, picking
up my shakers to join in. Its great fun. One lady in the jam has an
ecstatic experience, and in her ecstasy she says something like
"we have a lover in our life so that we can experience god, because god is
a person, and through connecting deeply with people in a loving way, we
connect deeply with god.".
