The gangsters

At the back of a new house my parents have moved into, there was an
old greenhouse. John has moved into it. He had to get the gangsters
out of there first. There had been a murder, someone had been pushed
through the greenhouse roof. John was here to clean up the dirty work
and get a new place to stay. Well, I think he was more interested in
cleaning up the dirty work, the place was just an excuse to this end.

So, my parents have bought this new place, but there was some hidden
deal made, that when the old owners moved out, the gangsters would
break into my parents new place soon after they moved in, to steal
stuff, because that way they new they could get away with it.
Premeditated crime.

I meet N in the garden. He is depressed, and all his words are coming
out slurred. Perhaps he has been drinking. My mum comes out, she is
quite harsh with him, or so it seems to me; she corrects his slurred
words and shows little mercy, but it actually seems to help bring him
out of himself. This is a side of my mum I have not seen before.
