Lilly, the Old Allotment Lady

Lilly, the old lady from the allotments has been asleep. Now she wakes up, and we are in wellow, and yet wellow is also doubled up with my parents house in sheffield. They are two places merged together in my dream.

I get chatting with Lilly. Alys is chatting with us too. We are talking about the good old days, the past. Its time now for Lilly to go home. I decide to walk her home because its quite a long
way to go, and after all, she is about 93! She says I don't need to help her, but I insist. She first of all runs up to Alys's van to tell her something before Alys leaves, and now starts running down the hill. Its amazing that she can still do this in her 90's. I hold her arm, to steady her, but I end up just holding her back, she is quiet capable of running by her self.

There are apples all over the road from the big trees on either side of the road. We are heading for the magical orchard ground at the bottom of the hill, where her house is. We run together, in the beautiful autumn light, seeing the many colours apples on the road,
some squashed, some good, so many, all down the road.
