After seeing that there was nothing I could do to help the badgers
which were trying to dig their hole deeper than the river which was
now flooding their hole, and only getting one kiss off the girl who I
wanted to be with at the party, I was feeling a little down.
So, I took myself off to a corner in the party, and began making some
art work, and singing, my way of dealing with emotional issues. And in
a little while, singing at the top of my voice a kind of weird lament
(people close by must have thought I was weird), I had managed to
stick a load of bits of sticky paper from off of the edges of sheets
of stickers and such like, onto another bit of paper in a rather
boring arrangement. I thought it reflected how boring I was.
I showed it to a friend and they pointed out to me that at the bottom
I had spelled out, quite accidentally "music is the sandwich of life".
That cheered me up.
