The wet festival and the old lady in wellow,

I am at a festival, and the rain won't stop. There are huge puddles all over the place, and the main stage has been closed down, as well as other areas that are too flooded. My clothes are soaking and I am cold and wet. The rain finally stops, and I remember I have dry clothes in my bag, so I take off all my clothes then and there and get changed into dry things. I am slightly self conscious about my nakedness. This guy does a performance for his friends with his willy - typical glastonbury festival shenanigans, he is singing a song about his willy at the top of his voice while displaying it to the world. His friends are all laughing both with him and at him. -- I'm in wellow and we are round at a ladies house who lives up the village and has been living the good old ways every since she has lived there, - growing vegetables, saving fire wood, conserving energy, living simply. She is showing us round her house, and everything is beautiful and efficient. She is keen on showing us because she knows we are also interested in living in such a way.

The tragic fall..

I am in sheffield in netheredge, and I am showing some friends round russel's parents house.. Its much bigger than we imagine it to be, they are still working on it. Its as if they are building about 6 mansions all on the same bit of ground. The scale is unbelievable. And they are using al old fashioned building techniques. I see russels dad working away, and he shouts down, "have you seen the tower?" He points to this tall circular tower, and suddenly I'm transported to another time, and its a hot summers day and visitors are going up the tower to see the views from the top. The views are spectacular, and russel's parents have been charging some money for this. I go up with 2 friends from my primary school, and we climb right to the top room. We meet a bunch of girls just below the top room, and they help us into the top room but won't join us there, its too scary. There are these little windows for looking out at the views. This top part of the tower is rotational, and cause its a windy day its spinning round and round in circles, making us quite dizzy. We are all a bit nervous about standing up because it feels like the tower will colapse, but when we do, we can see through this higher window, which not only shows us the city below, but also over the hills and yonder, a view of everything. One of my friends, the less cautious one, gets a bit over bold when I say its time to climb back down.. He climbs out of the window of the tower and begins to climb down the outside of the tower! One slip of a hand and that will be the end of him. He does slip, and falls hundreds of feet onto the ground below. We run down the tower and at the bottom we meet nurses. Miraculously my friend has not died, but he is likely paralyzed for life. - Later I find myself at coed, and timo has been working on a new crazy sculpture. I have my shed at coed, and people are visiting me in it. Some people don't want me to be there, and some people do. Its a confusing state of affairs, so I just act the fool and pretend I don't know any thing about it.

The Brighton friends

I am doing some wild food stuff outside, and I meet someone who I really get on with, and they invite me back to their house. Its a darkish basement apartment, with few windows but a nice friendly hobbit like feel. He's a guy who is really into japanese and chinese culture, and he practices some kind of martial art or meditation practice. His girlfriend is there too, and she and I cook some eggs on toast and get some food, despite the fact that we have already eaten out. You always know when your with friendly people when you feel a comfortableness to be able to make food in their house. I get myself some cereal in a bowl, and look for milk. There is non so I use water, and when I pour water into the bowl, I realise- this isn't cereal, its tea lights! "So you've found some floater lights, great!" My host says. It seems I have. Now where did I put my cereal? In looking around I find my eggs on toast, and sit down to eat. After eating I look around, and notice the massive C D collection, and she says "yes there are lots I know"... There are thousands. "I could spend hours and hours with all of these..." I remark. "Yes" the guy says, "I always have at least one cd on me, always something good to listen to." I ask them some questions, as you do, as I browse the c d collection. "So, why do you commute to brighton and live in bristol- surely this is hard to do?" "Well, firstly we don't have any children so it makes it easier, having less responsibilities. And we both love our jobs, but our friends are here in Bristol, so we wanted to stay living here, and it doesn't take that long to travel."

It all boils down to love...

Family gathering, Smoky room, I been smoking a spliff, and its made the whole room smell, End up sitting next to judy and jess and listening to their stories. I'm watching this nature doc, and I become a part of it, We are swimming the oceans with orka- killer whales, as they work in a team to track down some big fish that they are hunting. I find myself on a van being driven by james. We stop off at this cricket ground, and there are all these plants in pots. We have to turn the van around and come back, and it knocks over a load of plant pots in the process. A female caretaker of the cricket ground will look after them for us, so we don't stop to pick them up. I'm at this talk, and this black guy is describing his life. Its like a ted talk. He has a picture up on a big screen which is like the map of his life. Its quite native american style. There is this curved path, made out of a pattern of leaves, and there are a host of different animals along either side of the path. This path is the path of his life. I have seen this image somewhere before, and it is as if I have drawn it myself. He says something like "Regret can latch onto the emotions and stop them flowing." His talk is all about how to flow through ones life, taking each step as it comes. He talks about getting involved with witchcraft and all sorts of magical practices, but he says it really all boils down to love.

The River, and the Coal Mine

I'm traveling down this wide river with two friends. We have rubber
dingies, and we are trying to find the bit of the river where the
rapids are. I get out the map, and from first inspection of the map,
it looks like which ever way you go down the river you will get to the
rapids. One of my friends therefore decides to go up, and the other go
down stream. The one who goes down stream disappears out of sight
pretty fast. I'm now looking at the map again, and I notice that
actually I read the map wrong and this friend who went down stream is
actually heading out to sea. I have to warn him, I tell the other
friend, so I set off down stream, swimming as fast as I can, to tell
him, before he gets lost.

On the way down stream I come across big harbours with many boats, and
fairs on the quay side.

I am now working with some friends to shut down this big open cast
coal mine. The pollution it is causing is getting into the rivers and
heading down stream.

There is this poisonous snake like creature, that I must disempower,
because it is causing a lot of fear within the area. I know its a
middle world spirit. I must cut its bottom jaw off so that it can no
longer poison people.

The Jupirlometer

I'm with a friend and we are in a swimming pool. There's this diving
instructor who is giving us lessons on diving. He's telling my friend
how to dive - this guy has been practicing how to dive from a height,
and he's telling my friend all about it as they are curious, and would
like to know how to do this, so he shows them, he takes them up to the
3 meter board, and describes all about how to hit the water at the
right angle. Its largely about jumping. with confidence- its when you
jump without certainty that you may get it wrong. The higher the dive,
the more serious the Alys drive to consequences of getting it wrong.
He takes us up to the 3 meter height and demonstrates. My friend just
jumps in and makes a splash but safely. The instructor dives in head
first with a graceful curve as if he's floating through the air. We go
down to lower heights and start practicing.

I'm with Simon , the shamanic guy. He's telling me a story about a
meeting and conversation he once had. He tells me, he wanted to test
efficacy of shamanism one day, when he bumped into this person at a
festival, who claimed she was an old welsh witch, who claimed she
could do deep miracle work at distance. She said she was from a line
of ancient welsh healers. She claimed that she was one of the most
powerful. Simon was not so sure, but knew she had powers, so they
decided to test things out right then and there. They bump into a
person who needs healing. They do overnight work, and chat to this
person next day. He says difference was amazing. They also tried
testing doing distance healing for people in disaster areas.

I'm at a gig, and there are lots of people, and I see this cute girl,
while I watching the entertainment. I leave to go to bed, but then
remember this cute girl, and how one must grab opportunities - I may
never see her again! So I go back to meet her, even though I'm nervous
about what I will say.

I end up bumping into a different older lady who stops me, "hey!" she
says, "let me buy you something".. Joel from New Roots sees me and
stops me to say hi, but I have to say to him not now, as I want to
connect with this lady, while the chance is still there.. She buys me
a apple and we go off to this separate bar, where she is going to
introduce me to her partner.

I see my brother James, one morning before church, wearing a hippy
loincloth. he says, "I'm ready to go to church now".

I tell him "I'm not going to church with you dressed like that"!.

"Why? What's your problem!?" He says,

"Its bloody obvious mate!" I say,

The jupirlometer - the device I invented to test and measure the
cycles of jupiter in relation to our earth time.

Going for a walk with rich through endcliffe park, I walk ahead so
that I can get a perspective on things, . There is a fair on in the
park. I stop off at a stall to do some dancing.

Snow Falcon and the Magic place in the woods

I'm in woods, a magic place. Linked with church,

I meet with peter and I know I need to take him to this magic place,
its like a stone circle. I had been there the night before, and I know
that peter had been doing ritual magic the night before, and it had
changed the positions of the stones. So, I know that I need to show
peter this. I am now with jack and I need to show peter and jack this
magic place in the woods. we get picked up on this train, and dropped
off. We enter the circle at a special time. Its dark and we can feel
the ghosts gathering in around us. Things are changing fast.

I am in glastonbury, and I am on a mission to find these people I need
to share music with. I leave this crowded place where lots of music is
going on, and I follow my intuition. I know that these people are
buddhist people who live near the tour. I go into a cultural Chinese
shop, selling foods, and decorations, ornaments, traditional objects,
rugs, clothes, art. Its a very amazing experience being in there.

I don't know if I find these buddhist people, but I find myself in a
tall communal building, and there's this party going on. I bump into
Ruth and we have a big hug. Its so nice to see her again.

I meet Conor, he tells me he has expanded his room, - one of the walls
in his flat has been taken out so that he can use both rooms as one.
Its very spacious and clear of clutter, with nice polished wooden
floorboards.

Midi digital Mbiras

I meet Conor and Jimmy. They are getting some music thing together. I
apologize to them about my behavior, since I have been a bit too
egotistical and hypocritical.

Now I'm with Mark and Leah, and we are sitting in their house
chatting. Mark is giving me advice about my wild food walks. He is
saying that I need to be looking to the next step on.

"Just doing wild food walks is the old way, people need something new
now. And you need to be giving your best. Others can do the wild food
walks, you need to look to the next step."

Ok, I hear what he is saying to me.

I then show him my new Mbira. It is a digital midi Mbira, which has
lots of trigger keys that trigger beats, and samples. The things I can
do with it are amazing. I'm showing it to Mark and Leah, and they are
really impressed. I'm even impressing myself!
