Im at a big old house in the countryside. Im teaching some food growing courses here. I meet an old man, who is looking very stern and grumpy. I think that hes been living here all his life…

Now, im back in Sheffield. I meet Kristina at my parents house. She is really pissed off and upset with me. She tells me its because shes been listening to my radio shows and tells me that some of the things that I said on them were really bad. She thinks im a freak now! From some of things ive said, she tells me, ive created a bad impression of myself, and put lots of people off gardening and vegetable growing, which is what the shows were trying to promote.

I meet Simon and Tim up on the allotment. We have taken on this new site. Tim has been doing some amazing digging. He has un-covered these newish looking breeze block walls, six foot underground. Its an entire archeological dig that he has uncovered, an entire network of buildings under a whole field! It’s a massive job. Simon has come along to help him uncover these walls. I feel that we can use these walls to build things with, like poly tunnels and greenhouses. I mention about getting some polytunnel plastic on them.

Now its snowing! Snow, snow, snow! Covering the ground!!!
